Capri Cards was designed to be a calm, intuitive space that works for every kind of student: visual learners, audio learners, those who study in short bursts and those who settle in for hours. Design comes first here. School is already full of visual stimulation. Your study app can feel different: quiet, clean, and easy to move through without thinking about it.

Everything in Capri Cards is grounded in your class material. Your notes, handouts, recordings, and photos become the source of your flashcards, quiz, and audio lectures. The app creates as much as possible from what you add, and everything it creates is yours to review, edit, add to, or remove. You stay in control of what you study.

The goal is simple: take away the busy work so you can focus on actually learning. The formatting, the organizing, the question-writing. That part is on us.

Always ad-free

No ads. No sponsored content. No one paying to get in front of you. Capri Cards is a clean space where your focus stays on your material, not on what we're selling.

Your files stay private

When you add your notes or photos, that content is used to generate your flashcards and then deleted. We do not store added files. Your study materials are yours, not ours.

A personal space, not a social one

Capri Cards isn't a platform. There are no followers, no feeds, no public profiles. Just your decks, your study sessions, and your results. A personal study space built for the student, not the classroom.

Sharing, done safely

When you want to share a set with a classmate, choose Share to get a code. Before the code is created, AI checks every card for personal information so nothing sensitive leaves your account. The code is temporary, and the copied set has no connection to the original creator, so both students can edit it as they wish.

Built for students 13 and older

Capri Cards is built to be appropriate for all students 13 and up. No mature content, no social interactions, no data collection beyond what the app needs to work.

Nothing inappropriate gets through

Everything you add is screened before cards are created. Content that falls outside what belongs in a study app, including sexual material, hate speech, and graphic violence, is blocked before it reaches the AI. Standard academic material always passes through. If something is flagged, you see a message and the generation stops.

How It Started

Born from one panicked night before a big test.

It started with me, panicking a little. I had a huge test the next day and needed a few hundred index cards. Hundreds. That night. There was no way I was making those by hand.

So I went to my dad. He's the one who builds things. We sat there looking at what was out there, and there were a handful of apps that could do something like it. But they all felt like engineered software, not something a student would actually want to open. The interfaces were cluttered, nothing felt intuitive, and the results just didn't give us the organization or the confidence we were looking for. We wanted something built differently.

So we started building. Together.

By the end of that night, I was lying in bed studying, and for the first time before a big test, I actually felt calm. That's the moment Capri Cards was born.

I get anxious about tests, and the scramble the night before (not having your materials ready, feeling behind before you've even started) only makes it worse. I didn't want other students with that same anxiety to go through what I went through that night.

Every part of this app traces back to that: adding your material, the clean, focused study screen, the quiz mode that tests you on what you studied. Even the colors and the way it looks, that's all my style. It's built for students with real work to do and not enough hours to do it.

A note on the name: We call them Capri Cards, our name for what you'd probably call index cards or flashcards. Capri's my middle name. We just like the way it sounds. Capri Cards!
